two bag ladies

In 2001, my husband, our three children, our pug, and I moved to Hawaii. My first friend here was an incredibly talented woman named Fay Scherr. In 2003 we started a handbag company named Two Bag Ladies of Honolulu. Over the next four years, we made and sold over 500 custom bags.  From there we branched out into making 'kimonos', jewelry boxes, barn art, etc.  Our local newspaper even wrote a story about us and we were featured in a TV segment.
