LucyLand - a project for my granddaughter Lucy that began July 14th and was ready for Lucy on September 18th. I demoed the closet and added a chandelier, table, chairs, a doily my grandmother crocheted over 100 years ago, drapes, birds, and a window with a giraffe peering in. I also made an 'I Spy' board, painted cubes, and four Pantone panels that featured Lucy's Baby Cheeks, Baby Blue Eyes, Baby Lips, and Baby tresses. For the colors, I had a photo of Lucy and used the Illustrator Eyedropper tool. It was a project that I put my heart and soul into and a complete surprise for Mackenzie when she arrived on 12/19!

I decided to make a Christmas stamp house for our letter carrier. In the process, I learned that USPS issued its first Christmas stamp in 1962. So I went online and found stamps from 1962 to 2021 and glued each stamp onto a wood house.

One of my sisters-in-law has 11 grandchildren. For Christmas, I decided to make her an art piece that included embroidered stockings with all the kids' names. Then I added wallpaper, bricks, curtains,' windows with a starry night, signs of Christmas cheer, and a garland.
