OLIO​

In 2019 I wrote a book titled Secrets of the Packing Queen. Included with the purchase was a monthly newsletter titled Updates From The Packing Queen. After a few years, I became bored with travel writing yet I wanted to continue writing a newsletter of some sort.  But what kind?'

 

The answer came to me whilst doing a crossword puzzle one Wednesday morning. The clue was a 'melange' and the answer was the word 'olio'. That was exactly what I wanted -  a newsletter filled with different articles: a hodgepodge, a mix.

After this revelation, I decided to call the newsletter OLIO and write about 12 of the most important and unimportant things that crossed my path the previous month. The articles include quizzes, recipes, home, self-help, fashion, beauty, and others. 

​

OLIO began with 75 subscribers, today it has over 600. The subscribers hale from around the globe. December of 2021 marks her 100th issue!

 

My highest compliment came about in 2015 when my daughter told me that her friend Lily purchased all of her Christmas gifts from OLIO!
